Subscription invoices were sent out in March.  If you have not received yours, then please contact the Membership Secretary (Anne) immediately, using the contact form on this website.  When making payment, clearly identify your payment with your 7-character membership ID and add “Subs” to the details.

Please contact the Membership secretary with any changes to your details or those of your emergency contacts.

Thank you to those people who have already paid, ensuring that you will have access to more content on this website coming up, the lodge, minibus and more.

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 21 May 2024 at 7:30 pm. People like you keep our club moving along smoothly. If you have some time and energy to contribute, then maybe consider taking on a committee or appointed position. Talk to a current committee member for details.

Lodge Work Party

This year’s work plan is to repaint the exterior of the lodge and do some internal touch ups.

The weekend will be free for helpers with possible transport available from various centres depending on
attendees. We need all levels of help from painters to cleaner uppers to cooks. Work parties will only occur
with a reasonable future forecast so please register your interest so that we can contact you directly as to
whether the weekend is on. Most equipment will be provided by club but do bring usual lodge requirements
as well as painting clothes, electric sanders, power leads and your favourite paint brush.

Mangahao Flats (overnight)

I am planning to into Mangahao Flats for an overnight trip Sunday/Monday 10/11th March. This track follows the Mangahao river to the hut it is not an easy track and hut book entries show it can take 3 to 10 hours to get to the hut.

We will be leaving Palmerston at 8am on the Sunday morning.

If you are interested please contact me.[at]
