MTSC Application for Membership

All prospective members are encouraged to go on a club trip or attend a club night before joining. This is a great way to meet current members who can nominate you.

Prospective members must be nominated by a Proposer and a Seconder who are current MTSC members, one of whom must have been so for at least one year. New memberships are usually confirmed at the next monthly committee meeting, which are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month (except January).

Proposer and Seconder

Finally, enter the names and contact details of a proposer and seconder, who are current MTSC members and at least one of whom has been a member of MTSC for at least one year.

Please request your proposer and seconder to send an email to the Membership Secretary in support of your nomination. For example: "I, (name of proposer) hereby propose/second (name of nominee) to become a member of Manawatu Tramping and Skiing Club. I confirm that I am a current member of MTSC. My contact details are..."
