Our trip on Wednesday 28th June will be a celebration for all of our trampers who have their 80th birthday this year (or in the last couple of years). This will be a shared lunch at the Whanganui Bason Botanic Gardens, Rapanui Road in the rotunda near the car park.
First we will have a walk along Kai-Iwi Beach. Low tide is 11:30 am and the weather forecast looks OK. Meet at the large car park down at the end of Tangi Street/Kai-Iwi Beach where there are toilets. Then we will return to the Gardens with time for a walk around the gardens before and/or after lunch. Bring mugs sachets/tea bags as we may be able to arrange hot water.
This trip is a suitable for all abilities.
Departing Memorial Park 8:00 am.
